Design & inspiration

What makes this piece interesting is its two-sided nature. Flip it one way and the beige tones take centre stage, with just a whisper of moss green woven through – soft, warm, understated. Turn it over and the mood shifts: rich moss green becomes the dominant colour, with gold threads catching the light across the abstract pattern. A note from the maker

I fell in love with this fabric the moment I found it. The way the gold threads run through the weave, the way the green shifts depending on the light – it felt too good not to use. A coin purse felt like the right shape to really showcase both sides of it. It's small, but it has a lot of character.
