Intro

This clip was made to feel soft rather than bold: a quieter piece inspired by hydrangea flowers. The design centers on dried blooms in pink and blue, set against a clean white background, with tiny touches of gold worked in to tie the whole piece together.

Inspiration

I wanted to capture the way hydrangeas naturally shift in colour, petal to petal, without ever feeling harsh or graphic. The pink and blue blend gently into each other, creating a soft gradient rather than a sharp contrast. Using dried blooms instead of a painted design gave the clip real texture. You can see the natural variation in each flower, which is part of what makes it feel delicate rather than manufactured. The white background keeps the palette light and airy, and the small gold details add just enough shine to catch the eye without pulling attention away from the flowers themselves.
