Description

I made this ceramic dish as my first experiment with low-fire glazes. The inside is finished with Botz Turquoise Crackle glaze, which creates a beautiful crackled effect in shades of turquoise. I kept the outside plain white to let the colour and texture inside stand out.

The dish sits on three feet, giving it a simple but distinctive shape. I love the little seaside feeling it has, especially when styled with shells or other small coastal details.

As with all SB Art Story ceramics, this piece is handmade in Malta, so small variations in shape and glaze are part of what makes it special.

Food safe. Hand wash recommended. Do not wash in a dishwasher and avoid sudden temperature changes.
