A Big Final Fair for 2025
Artigiano in Fiera 2025 was not only my last fair of the year but also the biggest event SB Art Story has ever participated in. Held at Rho Fiera in Milan from 6-14 December 2025, it was an incredible opportunity to showcase handmade creations from Malta on one of the world’s largest artisan stages.
A Global Celebration of Craftsmanship
The scale of the fair was truly impressive, with over one million visitors, representation from 100 countries, and 3,000 craftsmen. Being surrounded by so much creativity and cultural diversity made the experience unforgettable and deeply inspiring.
Growing Through New Connections
One of the most rewarding parts of the fair was meeting other creators and small business owners. Exchanging ideas, learning from their experiences, and receiving advice from fellow artisans helped me grow both personally and professionally. These conversations sparked new ideas and strengthened my passion for what I do.
A Proud International Achievement
This event marked the second time in 2025 that SB Art Story went international – a huge achievement for a small business based in Malta. Sharing my work with a wider audience and seeing people connect with my pieces was incredibly meaningful. I’m also grateful to the Malta Crafts Foundation for their financial support, which made this journey possible.
The Challenges Behind the Scenes
Preparing for a nine‑day fair of this size was a major challenge. Creating enough stock, managing logistics, and keeping up with long daily hours required a lot of dedication. Not speaking Italian added another layer of difficulty, but it pushed me to adapt and find new ways to communicate with customers.
How It Compared to Fairs in Malta
Artigiano in Fiera was very different from the smaller fairs I usually attend in Malta. The long hours, the huge crowds, and the extended duration made it a demanding experience. Yet these challenges helped me improve my display, understand a new audience, and build valuable international connections.
